You have seen the teasers, but now everything is official – Huawei has launched its foldable smartphone called Huawei Mate X. It has 5G connectivity based on the Huawei’s Baolong 5000 modem, and the company claims to be the 5G smartphone faster

The camera will also be equipped with 55W SuperCharge, making it the fastest smartphone. According to Huawei, the Mate X can charge 85% of the battery within 30 minutes.

In tablet mode, the Mate X has an 8-inch screen with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels. When the device is folded, the main body becomes 6.6 inches with a resolution of 2480 x 1148 pixels, the already known ratio of 19.5: 9.

The other side plays the role of a secondary screen, similar to the Nubia X and NEX Dual Display: there is both a display and a camera configuration. Huawei said that you can take “the best selfies in the class” without specifying which class Mate X is in. For correct photos, you will need to use the main screen with glasses, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Huawei Mate X will arrive in the middle of 2019 for 2,299 euros in one color – interstellar blue.
