This week Samsung introduced its foldable Galaxy Fold and the next manufacturer wants to bring a foldable mobile phone on the market. Huawei is likely to come next as he prepares for a press event at the MWC this weekend for Huawei Mate X.
A photo was tweeted showing the installation of a display banner with the Huawei device with a folding screen. Some workers and scaffolding block the poster, but we can understand just about anything. The photo was taken and tweeted by @ gimme2pm.
The design is a bit different from Samsung Galaxy Fold. If the Galaxy Fold has an external display and the main compartment closes, the Huawei Mate X has a single screen that surrounds the outside of the phone. Once closed, we only use part of the screen.
This is an interesting version of the foldable phone, but we know that Huawei always has something else up its sleeve. We are happy to learn more about the Mate X and expect that a high-quality camera arrives here as well. However, Huawei’s press conference will take place on Sunday, February 24, at 2:00 pm local time in Barcelona, Spain.
We hope to hear more about Huawei’s 5G vision and new consumer products at this event. We certainly will not see anything on the Huawei P30 because Huawei has already set the date for his announcement at the end of March in Paris.
