The final and most important announcement of the evening, which Apple organized at its March event, is another subscription service after Arcade and News +. However, it has been rumored for months – and it has finally been revealed.

It is called Apple TV + and is essentially the Netflix competitor of Cupertino. There will be exclusive television programs, films and documentaries by Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Octavia Spencer, JJ Abrams, Jason Momoa, Night Shyamalan and Jon M. Chu and more. Pricing and availability for Apple TV + will be announced later this fall.

They have access to all of this content through the new Apple TV app, which “complements the needs of viewers with existing apps and services while developing a comprehensive and secure understanding of users’ user interests.”

The new app will be launched in May on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV in over 100 countries. He will reach macOS in the fall. The app will visit Samsung Smart TVs this spring and will land on the TVs Amazon Fire TV, Roku, as well as the LG, Sony and Vizio TVs “in the future”.

If you have a Vizio, Samsung, LG, or Sony Smart TV, you can easily play videos and other content from your iPhone or iPad directly from AirPlay 2 on your TV later and each year.

The new Apple TV app will feature shows and films from over 150 streaming apps including Amazon Prime and Hulu, as well as pay-TV services such as Canal +, Charter Spectrum, Directv Now and PlayStation Vue. It will also become the home of hundreds of thousands of movies and TV shows currently available on the iTunes Store.

As of May, you can subscribe to Apple TV channels and view them in the app without other apps, accounts, or passwords. HBO, Starz, Showtime, CBS All Access, Smithsonian Channel, EPIX, Tastemade, Noggin, MTV hits – these are all such channels.
