Redmi Note 7 arrived in India last week and the phone was first sold today. According to the company, the campaign was a complete success with more than 200,000 smartphones deployed within minutes.
The Redmi Note 7 is not the same smartphone as the one available in China and currently pre-orderable in Spain. The Indian variant uses a main camera configuration with 12 MP + 2 MP to maintain the low price of INR 9,999 ($ 142 / € 127) for the 3/32 GB variant / 64 GB, but it will cost you INR 11,999 (approx $ 170 / € 150).
The Indian phone has another big difference to its global siblings: it is not available in degraded colors, you can choose between onyx black, sapphire blue and ruby red.
The next flash sale is scheduled for March 13 at 12 o’clock. Then the Redmi Note 7 Pro is also being launched at a price of 13,999 INR (175 US dollars).
