Xiaomi launched the Game Speed Booster on the market launch of the Xiaomi Mi 9. The same feature now comes with the Pocophone F1, although the name is different: Game Turbo.
As the name implies, the feature enhances the gaming experience by optimizing the available resources. Xiaomi, like the GPU Turbo from Honor, is likely to optimize the processor and GPU for a more consistent and smoother gaming experience. The performance of the hardware is not magically increased, but an attempt is made to keep the number of FPS more stable.
In addition, with the Game Turbo, you can clear memory, take a screenshot, start recording, turn Wi-Fi on and off, and even switch from one SIM card to another without having to leave a pop-up window where you can see all of them can control these settings.
Interestingly, you can even use apps like WhatsApp or Facebook and even open the browser during the game. Applications open in a floating window, and Xiaomi plans to add more applications that support the floating window feature.
The feature is only available to users of the MIUI global beta. You can activate it from the security app. It is expected that it will soon arrive on the MIUI Stable Global ROM and the Chinese support of MIUI is not yet known.
