Xiaomi Mi 9 was spotted in early January with Snapdragon 855 codenamed Cepheus. Since then, the future flagship sporadically visited the rumor, but we finally have official information about it. Co-owner Lei Jun recently released a teaser that unveils the launch date on February 20th.
In addition, Weibo’s account published a photo of Roy Boys of TFBoys, with Roy Wang holding the Xioami Mi 9 and revealing three cameras on the back.
The triple configuration of the Xiaomi Mi 9 is arranged vertically, with the upper snapper having a colored accent. It looks like an LED light, but could also be a piece of colored glass. The configuration also includes a LED flash under the shooters. On the right side you will find the volume control and the on / off button, on the left side you will see a physical button that probably serves as a trigger for the Xiaoai Smart Wizard.
Lei Jun had previously suggested that the flagship product load faster than the 18W Redmi Note 7. So we expect 27W if the 3C list is correct. Other expected specifications include the Snapdragon 855 chipset with the X24 modem. Memory and memory would start at 6/128 GB and the price would supposedly be 2,999 CNY or 436 USD / 383 EUR.
