Xiaomi’s Mi Mix range has always been touted as the company’s pioneering innovation, with the goal of bringing the latest innovations to users. Their main goal was to provide a full-screen experience without glasses that the Mi Mix 3 should have filled with a slider design. It seems that Xiaomi is now using screens, but plans to pay more attention to cameras, especially cameras with higher megapixels and superzoom capabilities.
Wang Teng, Xiaomi’s product manager, mentioned shooting the last periscope/telephoto lens in the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 from Weibo earlier. A curious user wanted to know if the Mi Mix 4 is equipped with a super-zoom telephoto lens or not. And Teng decided that it was time to intrigue the users and responded “It is said that this is the case” in response to this user.
This is in line with Xiaomi’s recent patent approval, which showed that Xiaomi also used periscope camera technology, which we have already seen in the Huawei P30 Pro and the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. This periscope lens module received a lot of praise for its incredible hybrid zoom capabilities, which Xiaomi also wants to rely on for the future Mi Mix smartphone.
In addition to the Mi Mix 4 Camera 64MP main shooter and periscope camera system, ultrawide sensor and a depth sensor. we expect the Mi Mix 4 to ship with the new Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. Xiaomi has already announced that they will launch their first smartphone with this processor, Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, next week. We are still skeptical about the Xiaomi under-screen camera that demonstrated on the way to the Mi Mix 4 earlier this year, but the mi mix 4 comes with ultra-fast 100W charger. What do you expect from Mi Mix 4? Let us know in the comments.
