The vivo X27 will be released on March 19th with a selfie camera. It seems that there are three variants with different chipsets and fingerprint scanners. The new devices are accompanied by vivo S1, a completely new smartphone with selfie camera and a center mounted LED flash.
The vivo S1 is a surprise because nobody expected this phone. Rumor has it that it is possible to pre-order Saturday three days before the big event. It should have a Helio P70 chipset, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory. The screen is 6.5 inches tall and has a Full HD + resolution and a fingerprint scanner under the display. The configuration of the triple camera is 12 MP standard + 8 MP ultra wide angle + 5 MP depth sensor.
Although most of the vivo X27 specifications are well known, the TENAA list offers a more affordable version with the Snapdragon 670 chipset and a more expensive version optimized by the Snapdragon 710. All variants have a 48 MP main shooter with sensor Sony IMX586, the Pro One will have a selfie launcher with 32 MP instead of only 16 MP.
The price of the vivo S1 is 2,298 CNY, while the vivo X27 will be available starting at 3,198 CNY and it would be good to see if any of the phones will be available outside of China. If you want a vivo with a contextual selfie shooter, you can opt for the vivo V15 and vivo V15 Pro, which are similar but have minor differences in specifications.
