Google has been testing a crash reporting and speed trap Google map version similar to Waze’s since last year, and it looks like the company has started using it around the world.

Some Google Maps users will see a new button in Navigation mode that can report crashes and speed up alerts. Initially, you can only report an accident or speed monitor if similar information has been entered on your navigation route. However, Google has improved this feature by adding a button to report such incidents.

Google has not officially announced this feature and we do not know when exactly this feature will be available to all. What we do know is that it’s currently only available to some Android users and will be remotely enabled. Installing the latest version of Google Maps does not mean that you will receive them immediately.
